I was glad to finally see Cherche Midi on the horizon. It was pretty empty. Service is always great and the steak frites is dependable. Great fries and great tarte tatin.

cherche midi: mini-review
Today I took the B train to Grand Street and got more lost than I've been in a long time. I kept turning around and heading ten blocks in the wrong direction. Too proud to ask directions of course. (Finally, I had to).
I was glad to finally see Cherche Midi on the horizon. It was pretty empty. Service is always great and the steak frites is dependable. Great fries and great tarte tatin.
