sola pasta bar 330 west broadway nyc

The design of this Milanese-feeling place is stunning. It's like Momofuku Ko or Momofuku Seiobo: a stainless steel square counter with chefs and induction woks in the middle, windows that open to the street. Vegetable soup with orzo was wonderful and included dollops of pesto. Loop pasta with clams was very al dente and only featured three (3) clams and three (3) small shrimp but was otherwise prepared with care and delicious. Tiramisu was light and moist and well-balanced. Nice choice of wine by the glass. Best thing here is the atmosphere: lots of Italians speaking Italian, beautiful setting, attentive service.
